Eli Dourado is a technology policy researcher and economist. He previously served as a research fellow at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University, where he directed the Technology Policy Program and contributed research on cryptocurrency regulation and internet governance.
Dourado has written and spoken about the policy implications of Bitcoin and blockchain technology, advocating for regulatory approaches that allow innovation while addressing legitimate concerns. He later served as head of policy at the Boom Supersonic aircraft company and has worked on energy and infrastructure policy.
