we're here with anthony diario from toronto he's with the ethereum cryptokit and decentro what's the bitcoin alliance of canada working on these days uh bitcoin alliance of canada is working on hiring some staff that's our main priority after the expo we did in toronto in april we ended up making about 80 bitcoins in the process so our next step is to hire some one or two part-time employees that are going to be taking care of the day-to-day operations but things have been a little slow with the alliance recently um but once we get some staff and i think and we have some people dedicated to it i think we're really going to start boosting it forward that's exciting why do you decide to launch the ethereum crowd sale the way you did instead of giving warning and setting a date i think we it was going on for such a long time that to give it a date when we weren't absolutely sure we basically said we need to get a couple things in place and have them done and completed and then we'll just start it and because it was going on for so long it didn't really have to you know have a date the people and like people had so much time in order to get it so even if you didn't hear about it or forget it four days whatever it was yeah well it was 42 days actually for the whole 42 days yeah okay there's plenty of time that people could do it so we just thought we're best and also we didn't need people to try to be selling or doing some other sites that that might try to uh um like we want to keep people on their toes really and we just want to come out with it and announce it and that makes sense do you still have plans to turn decentral into an accelerator and franchise the name yes so we're trademarking decentral in five different countries right now uh we've got a massive mentor international mentorship base right now and i think the plan still is to have an accelerator program however i am focusing on crypto kit right now and the co-working space but the plan is to have a community space um and then have people working together co-working space forming companies and put them through a program using our international mentorship base and then get that plan out to other parts of the world that would want to be using the blueprint that we've come up with so give us an overview of cryptokit so cryptokit is our company our first product was the triplicate extension which is a chrome extension bitcoin wallet it's an instant bitcoin wallet means that you just move your mouse and you've got a wallet no credentials no logging in and it's the easiest tool to go shopping with i was going to say it sounds pretty easy it automatically grabs addresses and amounts from whatever page there and it actually got one click payments so it's easiest to go shopping with that's incredible how long after learning about bitcoin did you decide to get into the workspace it was a couple months a couple months it's pretty exciting stuff isn't it it is i've been in since 2012. that's exciting of all the things you've done in bitcoin what are you most proud of i think the expo that we did in toronto it was a massive event i think we had 700 people wow and to get the speakers that we that came i think was an amazing speaker list and um a lot of people saying was one of one of the top-notch events so let me ask you a question here now january 1st 2015 we're asking everybody the same question what do you think the price of bitcoin's going to be uh january 15th so we've got a pool going at decentral we've got about 15 people into it and i think i said 1200 and i think that's just because that's the highest it's been so i i'm hoping it's back up with that well that's probably a pretty good average for some of the numbers that we're getting i mean we're getting any anything from 150 to 10 000. we've got somebody that said zero a well-known actually one of the one of the naysayers uh that's all i'll say zero yeah that's a bad number hey you know some people are a little pessimistic but well i guess if it goes to zero then it's uh affordable anyway there you go yeah he's not gonna win anything because it's a bitcoin prize anyway no you're right that's not gonna win anything from our prize that's for sure yeah anthony you're here in las vegas for the inside bitcoin convention what else are you here for so i'm also going to the coin agenda conference which is more of an investors uh it's a conference for investors we'll be doing a pitch for crypto kit there and i'm also speaking on the security panel that's exciting anthony diario from ethereum crypto kit and decentral thanks kindly for joining us today fantastic thank you this is jay addison from crypto biz magazine live from meckler media's inside bitcoins conference in las vegas remember to subscribe to crypto biz magazine at cryptobizmag.com follow us on twitter at cryptobizmag thanks for joining us and learn more at cryptobizmagazine.com
