this is jay addison from crypto biz magazine live in las vegas at inside bitcoins we're here with nelson you the president north america 796 exchange what is 796 exchange 796 exchange is the world's largest bitcoin futures exchange wow and we've been around for more than a year we started back in june 2013 and we're now the world's largest in terms of liquidity and transaction volumes now where are you guys located as a home base okay uh we started in hong kong yeah and uh our operations teams is in china and our server is south of chinese and taiwan but we have our team in the us as well right you accept us dollars you have multiple currencies i'm sure well in fact not uh we try to avoid the touch issues with fiat currency so we only accept bitcoins and when customers withdraw they also withdraw bitcoins okay so tell me about the futures for bitcoin litecoin okay um uh for example when the market the price of bitcoin becomes very volatile you can actually come to our platform our website to hatch against the price drop that's going to help you save or help you lock in your profit during those during those volatile periods that sounds good i haven't heard of you before how come well we started in asia we've been putting a lot of focus in asia in the past year and uh but our science i mean our science operation size of business has grown beyond our expectation and that's why we're expanding out of asia we started our operation in north america and we are recruiting partners and customers in the rest of the world did you have any regulatory issues in starting up in hong kong um not really not back then but we are working very hard to make our business more legitimate so we are targeting to get either a license for a business or a destination from cftc in the united states right okay what's your purpose of being here at the inside bitcoins convention uh we've been to the other inside bitcoin convention in hong kong and we met a lot of people and we networked with a lot of other parties or other bitcoin companies we felt that this is a very important event that we should be here to let the world know that we are around here for sure and we and we actually had a lot of great conversation discussion with partners and other businesses there's a lot of great minds here right it's a great place to be exactly exactly yeah the bitcoin industry is extraordinary because i i meet a lot of people and all those people are very bright yes and uh they are willing to spend that time and resources to build industry that's a very good thing that's for sure huge community right unlike sort of any other sector it's it's i mean even for us i mean here we are trying to um you know as a community trying to promote everybody right to the to the financial audience type of thing so yeah it's all about community it's one of the greatest things one of the greatest things about this whole bitcoin and whole crypto sector kind of thing exactly exactly let me ask you a question january 1st 2015 what do you think the price of bitcoin is going to be i would say it's still going to be below 1 000 my guess would be around one around 800. fantastic nelson you president north america of 796 exchange thanks kindly for joining us today thank you thank you magazine live from meckler media's inside bitcoins conference in las vegas remember to subscribe to crypto biz magazine at cryptobizmag.com follow us on twitter at cryptobizmag thanks for joining us and learn more at cryptobizmagazine.com
